I sliced a 1/4" off my palm while slicing onions with a mandolin. I had bled through cloth bandaids overlapped 2 deep (and held on with hockey tape to get myself through roller derby practice a few hours later by the end of which I was stuck to my wrist guards) when I stumbled on these particular Bandaids right before closing at my pharmacy.
Applied the 1st one over night which lasted through about half the next day, the adhesive didn't stick quite the way I'd hoped and I had a bunch of seepage out the side. The second one seems to be staying put a bit better, there is only a bit of seepage but it is lifting at the palm. Hoping to get another day out of it. Even with the little bit of adhesive issue I'm pretty impressed. I was able to work (as a carpenter) all day today and I will be able to play in a double header derby bout in 2 days time. Pretty sure I wouldn't be as happy about the prospect with traditional bandages. I have really tight, slide on wrist guards too, and I think these may even be able to tackle those without the extra layer of hockey tape...or I hope so anyway. My wound feels well protected and cushioned either way.
I did think large would be a bit larger though, granted it turned out to be the very perfect size for my silly, self inflicted wound.
Yes, I'd recommend this product
